Corporate Wellness Programs
It’s true that a healthy employee is a happy employee! One of the best ways to help your employees realize you care about their health is to provide them with ways to feel better...both physically and mentally.

Studies have shown that companies which do more to promote and encourage the overall health and wellness of their employees have a happier, more productive and less-stressed workforce.

Some great ways to relieve stress on your employees is to offer them regular Chair Massages and Reflexology treatments right in your own workplace during regular work hours! This not only helps them reduce their overall stress levels, but makes them feel appreciated for a job well done, which pays you back by improving the morale of your employees in your office.

I have designed special programs that enable me to host “Wellness Days” or “Employee Appreciation Days” on a regular basis for your company. During these special days, your employees would sign up for 10-15 minute individual Reflexology or Chair Massage treatment sessions with me.

Chair Massage
On-site Chair Massage is now a common feature at work places, exhibitions, sporting events, health food stores, shopping centers, airports and many other locations. Since there is no need to remove clothing, and sessions take approximately 10-15 minutes, chair massage has been proven to be a popular alternative to a traditional table massage. These factors make chair massage an attractive and popular benefit for the workplace.

The massage itself can best be described as a brief bodywork session performed in a special chair where you sit upright facing the cushion. Chair massage focuses on the scalp, shoulders, neck, arms, back and hips.

During a Chair Massage, the therapist kneads, lifts, and stretches the muscles and soft tissues using a variety of Swedish, Deep Tissue and stretching therapy techniques. It is typically a short procedure lasting between 10 and 15 minutes long. It focuses on your back, shoulders, neck and arms. Chair massage is done over clothes and doesn’t require any massage oil. During the session, you are seated in a special chair with your face resting in a cradle, looking down towards the floor, with supports for your arms. Your back and neck completely relax while the therapist relieves muscle tension using massage moves like kneading, compression, and tapotement.

Chair massage can help reduce stress-related problems including Tension Headaches, Mental and Physical Stress, and Anxiety while increasing Blood Circulation. There are even more benefits of Chair massage including:

• Lowering your Blood Pressure
• Relieving Muscle Tension and Stiffness
• Enhance Joint Flexibility and Range of Motion
• Promotes an overall sense of well-being
• Stimulates the release of Endorphins (which are the body’s natural pain killer)
• Helps Relieve Chronic Headaches
• Improves Blood Circulation

I will design a custom session plan to treat you and your employees to this essential form of professional massage.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a form of complementary therapy that involves treating the body through the feet. It is based on the premise that there are reflex areas in your feet which relate to all of your body parts and that your whole body can be treated via your feet. A system of longitudinal energy zones is believed to provide the link between your reflex areas and your body parts. A wide range of disorders can be helped by Reflexology. These include problems such as migraines, sinus congestion, backache, diabetes, tooth aches, asthma, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, circulatory problems and much more! Reflexology does not claim to be able to help all disorders, but there are very many instances where treatment can be a great benefit to you.

Benefits of a single Reflexology session:
- Decreased blood pressure
- Reduced Anxiety, Pain, and Stress
- Relaxation

Benefits of a series of Reflexology sessions:
- Balances the body to aid healing
- Balances emotions and energy
- Improves digestion and organ function
- Improves waste elimination
- Instills a greater sense of well-being
- Strengthens immune system

What Should You Expect?
Included in each session is a foot scrub, reflexology and massage.  To receive reflexology, you will lay in my massage table, and I will apply thumb or finger pressure to each foot. Certain areas may feel more sensitive than others. The tenderness often decreases as I work your feet and you begin to relax.

Because it is important to stimulate all the points, I will not avoid the tender areas, but will work within your comfort level. Speak up if you feel any discomfort so I can adjust your treatment. Also tell me if you are pregnant or have a medical condition.

Responses to reflexology vary widely. After a session you may feel calm and relaxed, or you may experience a feeling of energy and rejuvenation. Some people may initially experience fatigue after a session, but notice an increase in energy over the following days.

The more often you receive reflexology, the more benefits you are likely to notice. I will help you decide the best frequency to meet your specific needs. As you begin to experience feelings of well-being from your sessions, you may become more aware of how it feels to be truly relaxed.

Reflexology & Massage Workshops
Workshops are interactive ways to learn massage, stretches or reflexology for use in your everyday life. I host formal workshops in my Holistic Center and in corporate locations. I am also available to be booked for customized, private events for small or large groups in your home or in another accommodating facility.

Workplace Wellness Workshops
These workshops are the perfect way for me to teach your group basic Foot and Hand Reflexology, and/or Stretching techniques. These techniques will help your people learn how to de-stress, re-focus, and prevent illness brought on by stress in the workplace. This workshop includes a 15 minute Foot or Hand Reflexology session for each participant. This will help them remember what it feels like to be truly relaxed.
